Celebrating Six Years of Innovation – XREX Group Commences Succession Plan and Expands Talent Recruitment

Global blockchain financial institution XREX Group launched its management succession plan today and promoted 16 team members, including one senior executive, five senior leaders, and 10 middle managers. 

Marking its sixth anniversary and the conclusion of the Group’s first five-year plan, XREX announced these critical promotions to strengthen its leadership and management structure.

At the core of the succession plan is the promotion of Vince Huang, Senior Vice President of Engineering, to Group Executive Vice President (EVP) and General Manager. A Computer Science graduate of Taiwan National Chiao Tung University, Vince brings over a decade of technical expertise from leading roles at HTC, where he spearheaded app development and foundational logic programming, as well as security and privacy audits during HTC’s foray into virtual reality. Since joining XREX in 2019, Vince has led the engineering team in building secure, compliant, and seamless blockchain financial solutions. His engineering and audit expertise is pivotal for the company.

As the cryptocurrency industry enters an era of regulation, Vince said, “I am confident about the future of our company and deeply honored to leverage my skills and expertise in my new role and responsibilities. I will work with the team to realize XREX’s vision and value.”

Among the five senior leaders promoted are Patrick Hung, now Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations and People Experience; Amanda Tsao, SVP of Product Experience. Other notable promotions include Yoyo Yu, Vice President (VP) of Corporate Communications; Fox Yu, VP of Trading Research; and Charlotte Tsao, VP of Customer Success. Additionally, 10 other employees are promoted across Senior Manager, Manager, and Associate Manager roles, reinforcing XREX’s commitment to talent development.

These advancements reflect XREX’s dedication to fostering upward mobility and providing leadership opportunities to both seasoned executives and emerging talents. Collectively, the newly promoted senior executive and senior leaders average five years of tenure at XREX, demonstrating alignment with the company’s mission. 

Patrick Hung, SVP of Operations and People Experience has worked alongside XREX co-founder and Group CEO Wayne Huang for over 13 years. Having been part of the company since its inception, these leaders will continue to drive the expansion of XREX’s product ecosystem, spanning cryptocurrency exchange, cross-border payments, and regulatory technology, bringing meaningful contributions to global financial inclusion.

Wayne Huang stated, “With XREX Taiwan being a qualified operator in Taiwan, and XREX Singapore operating under the Major Payment Institution (MPI) license issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), it is the ideal time to launch our succession plan. We all will continue to work together for XREX Group’s next five years.”

While empowering existing talent, XREX is preparing to recruit top talent globally in 2025 Q1 to support its next five-year plan. XREX invites professionals with expertise in blockchain, cryptocurrency, finance, fintech, and cross-border payments to join its mission to create secure, compliant, and transparent blockchain financial solutions for global markets.

XREX Co-founder and Group Chief Revenue Officer Winston Hsiao added, “We are focused on attracting senior professionals with a blend of traditional financial and transformative fintech experience. With a team of over 120 employees and successful seed, Pre-A-1, and Pre-A-2 funding rounds, the XREX Group has raised over $43 million from government, banks, cryptocurrency industry leaders, and international venture capital. Alongside strengthening its presence in Taiwan and Singapore, the Group aims to continue its expansion into key global markets.
