XREX 執行長：支付工具不是投資工具！為何用房地產當儲備的美元穩定幣 USDR 一夜脫鉤 50%

本文作者 / 黃耀文 Wayne Huang、陳安祖 Andrew Chen、尤芷薇 Yoyo Yu 本文首刊於鏈新聞由 TangibleDAO 發行的美元穩定幣 Real USD（$USDR）在昨晚（11 號）與美元脫鉤，跌幅達50%。Real USD 是 Polygon 鏈上總鎖倉價值第四大的協議，在穩定幣的應用越來越廣，從投資買賣加密貨幣的功能，一直到真實世界的跨境支付等金融應用，$USDR 的脫鉤值得我們關注並再次省思，穩定幣的角色究竟為何？也因為這樣的角色，它應該有什麼樣的設計與規範？ $USDR 有兩個特色，第一它主要以房地產為儲備，第二是它將儲備，也就是房地產的獲利，反饋給使用者。「配息穩定幣」是一種一方面作為支付工具，一方面又將自身的獲利，返利給使用者的一種穩定幣類型。最近這類題目，在區塊鏈產業非常火紅，但大家對風險的討論與認知，顯然不足。穩定幣的「貨幣流速」 (money velocity) 不足，是個風險任何貨幣的第一防線是「交易場景與使用頻率」，也就是其「貨幣流速」。穩定幣被當作「支付工具」，整個系統是否能「穩定」，整個產品是否有與市場契合 (Product Market Fit)，最重要的指標並非發行量或用戶數，而是： -它被「使用」的頻率有多高？ -使用者是否因「支付」和「交易」需求，而持有此貨幣並頻繁地使用它？更白話一點，就是此款穩定幣，是否有有豐富的交易相關應用場景，並且被頻繁使用與交易。舉例來說，USDT 在新興市場，例如：印度、非洲、中東、南美洲等國家與地區很受到歡迎，無論是中小型企業用來做跨境支付、清算與結算工具，還是個人的加密貨幣投資、資產配置等等，USDT 都是最重要的媒介與單位。USDC 則是大型金融機構之間，在做大額交易與清結算時愛用的穩定幣，又或是在買賣加密貨幣之間，轉換為 USDC 安全暫存。「配息穩定幣」的風險在於，當一款貨幣不被當成「支付工具」，而是被視為「投資工具」，那麼很可能，大家入手它、持有它的原因，不是要用於交易，而是當作一種投資。那將造成此款貨幣發行量大，流速卻低；此時，當它的投報率降低時，持有者沒有理由繼續持有，非持有者也沒有理由接手，快速形成巨大賣壓，造成背後儲備的擠兌壓力。如果我們量化一款貨幣的多種危險因子，那麼：貨幣危險因子.1 = 發行量 / 流速也就是說，發行量大而流速低，是任何貨幣的一大危險因子，而「配息穩定幣」只要沒有豐富的支付應用場景，就很容易觸發此危險因子（註一）。回顧之前 Terra… Read More
