XREX, SlowMist, and Several Security Companies Jointly Launched Web3 Cybersecurity Academy

The XREX team has partnered with blockchain security company SlowMist, GoPlus Security, Numen Cyber Technology, ScamSniffer, and WTF Academy, which recently received a grant from the Ethereum Foundation, to jointly launch Web3 Cybersecurity Academy. The Academy will be publishing articles and sharing knowledge in collaboration with global cybersecurity communities. The goal is to cultivate more Web3 security talents, enhance industry energy, and provide the best security protection for users while the blockchain technology and application of cryptocurrencies thrive.

The Web3 Cybersecurity Academy plans the following series of topics:

  • OnChain security analysis and Proof of Concept (POC)
  • Solidity smart contract security and auditing techniques
  • Move programming language secure development
  • Key technologies to enhancing user asset security

Sun Huang, XREX’s Chief Information Security Officer and General Manager, has over 15 years of international cybersecurity experience and he is passionate about sharing cybersecurity research findings. Sun Huang often speaks at international conferences such as Blackhat, Hack in Paris, Virus Bulletin, and RSA.

In 2022, Sun Huang also open-sourced two Web3 cybersecurity tools, DeFiHackLabs and DeFiVulnLabs, to assist engineers and developers in strengthening smart contract secure development.

With their Cyber Labs team comprising of the world’s top security experts, they offer Web3 security services that can comprehensively cover all stages of a Web3 project’s lifecycle such as security audits for smart contracts, public blockchains, smart wallets, and exchanges.


ScamSniffer enhances anti-scam capability of individual users to accelerate the mass adoption of Web3.

WTF Academy

WTF Academy is a Web3 Open University for developers, with the goal of guiding 10,000 developers into the Web3 domain. Currently, WTF Academy creates open-source tutorials in Solidity, Ethers.js, and more. WTF Academy has received funding from the Ethereum Foundation and StarkWare.
